Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.
Here's a
queryposed by Doug Brown on the
Denver Postblog: Is porn the new meth?
With this question, Brown, who has staked out quite a beat at the daily as a pornography critic (find his July 2006 story on the "porn epidemic" here) brings up some very important similarities between nudie pictures and the highly addictive drug.
I'll take it a step further and present an even more pressing inquiry: Are meth-heads the new porn stars?
Just think about the parallels: Both are skinny, both find themselves engaged in repetitive motions and both pick at open wounds and have decaying teeth, as the meth mouth example found on this
pagedemonstrates.
Just look at these pics of the sex industry's hottest new porn stars! Disgusting. -- Jared Jacang Maher
