Playwright Anne Welsbacher met the challenge of compiling the details and detritus of Parker's life into Pardon My Dust, a play making its regional premiere tonight in a production presented by the woman-centric theater company And Toto too. ATT founder Susan Lyles directs, and it's a tour de force role for one of Denver's finest actors: the versatile Billie McBride, who will be called upon to portray the wicked wit throughout her career.
Pardon my Dust begins its run tonight at 7:30 p.m. at work | space in the Laundry on Lawrence; a reception with Welsbacher and the cast follows the performance. Shows continue on Wednesdays through Saturdays, through April 6. Admission is $20 to $22 (and only $11 on Cheap Date Wednesdays); visit the website or call 720-583-3975 for reservations.Find information on hundreds of other arts and entertainment events in our online Calendar.
