You are invited to run, trot, walk, stagger or crawl every Thursday at either 6:15 or 6:30 p.m., weather permitting, by joining the Irish Snug Running Club, a large, loose and fun-loving group that takes a 5K loop each week before settling down to eat and drink. Tonight, a representative from the American Cancer Society's DetermiNation charity running group will be also there to sign up team members to run the October Denver Rock'n'Roll Marathon (or the half-marathon or relay race), with special perks included: free race entry and free group training, in addition to the race's unique lineup of live music along the route.

Hoof it to the Snug, 1201 East Colfax Avenue, tonight and register at 6 p.m., or do the same online beforehand (it's free to become a member of the Snug Running Club, either way); go to www.irishsnugrunners.com for details. Get more info about DetermiNation at www.determinationdenver.org.
