What do Miami Herald columnists do when they're bored? They write books, of course, and not necessarily ones that reflect their journalistic oeuvres. Barry is in town tonight at the Tattered Cover LoDo to introduce Insane City ($26.95, Putnam), a Hollywood-ready romp about a destination wedding gone horribly awry; he'll read from and sign the book at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, but you'll want to pick up a ticket for a seat and a place in the book-signing line in advance (they'll be handed out beginning at 6:30).
