THE GOOD: Alexandre Herchcovitch offers this interesting take on the tweed coat. The shape and detail are fresh and flattering.
It's apparent from Saturday's collections that this is not going to be the year for the female figure. Most everything coming down the runway is oversized proportions — billowy A-line top over billowy A-line bottom — or shapeless and boxy. Either way, curves are out and androgynous is back in. But in a very late '90s meets the late '80s kind of way. Tres bizarre. Thus far, the fall collections have not incited Cat to anything but apathy, but get a peek for yourself at the day's good, bad and amusing. ...if the fit is unbecoming on a -2 model, how is it ever going to flatter a normal size 2? So stunningly horrible. The equivelent of Mom Jeans for the whole body.

Two strikes for Alice Roi: This just screams Jr. High sewing class. And Cat likes deconstruction...

Help! Maticevski forced me to walk down the runway in this! Maybe if I look vacant you all won't notice me.

THE BAD: Even Krystle Carrington never had shoulder pads this big, Venexiana.

Venexiana, was your inspiration The Mad Hatter meets Much Ado About Nothing, perhaps?

Boys, you're on your own with Buckler's outfit. Sorry

Cat is at a loss for words over this Maticevski creation.

THE AMUSING: Bubble skirt and pleather. With white tights. Wow, Abaete, just wow.
