The new art show from Good Thieves Press is all about the artists stealing — or at least borrowing — from each other. “Because we’re a co-op and there are six members, all of us have our own styles and artistic approaches,” says Good Thieves’s Corrina Espinosa. “We decided that we would make a collaboration show with our art family; we’re going to have a totally crazy array of work, with all sorts of different approaches.”

Artistic collaboration among the members of the art collective and printmaking studio often involved combining diverse mediums. For example, one piece uses an old painting that R. Tyler Christopherson started in college, but thanks to Espinosa’s creative eye, it’s getting a complete makeover with light installations.

Thick as Thieves opens tonight at Good Thieves Press, 2401 Stout Street, with a free reception from 5 to 10 p.m. that includes an interactive performance-art game from Ejection Seat Collective and the Atlanta Poets Group. Visit goodthievespress.com for more infor-mation.
