Unfinished, an Art Students League of Denver Invitational Pattern Shop Studio June 20 through August 18 Opening reception: 6 to 9 p.m. June 20ASLD faculty and students will get a showcase in RiNo for the summer at the homey Pattern Shop, which is indeed housed within a residence. As the title implies, the exhibit focuses on work in progress, something we don't usually see on gallery walls. Expect a lot of variety in this exploration of how an artwork is built.

This opportunity to see Kasahara's work is well worth the hour drive south.
Elizabeth Mahler Licence Let Em Have It Salon Opening reception: 6 to 9 p.m. June 21Photographer Elizabeth Mahler Licence's atmospheric works will take over the walls at Fallene Wells's posh Uptown salon, which doubles as a gallery. Drinks and music will accompany the art at the Saturday night reception.
