When the BaoBao Fest comes around each year, with its rich mixture of singing, dancing, drumming and storytelling, it spreads the love across the Front Range with several days of performances at different locations.
This round begins tonight with an abbreviated children's show at 6:30 p.m. at the Harlequin Center for Performing Arts; tickets are $8, and audience participation is included. Tomorrow the action moves south to Colorado College's Packard Hall for a free drum and dance extravaganza at 7 p.m. And on Saturday, BaoBao wraps up with two shows -- another children's corner at 3 p.m. ($10) and an all-ages blowout featuring everything from a choir to a hip-hop troop at 7 p.m. ($10-$15) -- at Boulder High School.
Go on, get your groove. Visit the BaoBao Festival website for additional information.
