The same goes for his annual holiday message to MCA visitors, supporters and friends. This year's greeting, entitled "Caffeinated History," is out and causing a stir on the Internet.

Meanwhile, MCA's not through with dealing whimsy in 2013: Beginning today at 5 p.m., the museum will present Twelve and a Half Days of XMas LIVE, featuring performances in the atrium by a hand-picked roster of, er, unusual acts, from tonight's go-go dancing burlesque by Gigi D'Lovely to the Ukulele Social Club on January 5.
