That's what happened at the Denver Art Museum this past weekend, when Open for Design, a community challenge that asked citizens to create a visual model showing how they would improve their neighborhoods through unique design projects, debuted. And happily the show, which remains on view at the DAM through September 2, is bountiful, cheerful and full of wonderful ideas -- some serious, many whimsical and all of them well-conceived.
