That will be the case tonight when the exhibit Seven of Them, featuring work by seven alumni of Pirate and its one-time gallery-within-a-gallery, Ilk, opens with a reception from 6:05 to 10:10 p.m., sharp! If you've followed these artists over time, it's an interesting opportunity to see how far they've come since the early days. And if you haven't? Well, you're still in for a treat.
Artists include Dave Seiler, Keely Preston, Lauri Lynnxe Murphy, Jimmy Sellars, Marie EvB Gibbons, Nick Silici and Terry Campbell -- and be sure to catch (anti) decay, a show by Nicole Banowetz in the associate space. If you miss the opening, visit Pirate weekends through September 1 to catch the show. Visit the Facebook event page.
