The Alt Games College Action Sports Championships this weekend at Copper Mountain

This week Copper Mountain and the United States Snowboard Association (USASA) close out a week of snowboarding and freeskiing competition with the winter events of The Alt Games College Action Sports Championships on Saturday April 10 in the Catalyst Terrain Park.

Colorado colleges represented in the event include University of Colorado, University of Northern Colorado, Western State College, and Colorado Mountain College. For the full roster or prequalified athletes, visit USASA.org

The event will air on the CBS College Sports Network later this month (preview show on April 15, semis on April 25, and finals on April 29). For photos, videos, and results before that, check out www.thealtgames.com. The Alt Games pick up again on May 1 with a Beach Volleyball event in Santa Barbara, CA. The Kayak events will be held in Reno, NV May 8-9. Wakeboarding and Flowboarding events will be held May 15-16 in San Diego, CA, and the Ultimate Frisbee championships are May 28-30 in Madison, WI.
