Lucha Libre & Laughs takes a vital, fringe-booted step toward a more inclusive future with Equal Fights!, a two-day extravaganza of standup comedy and intergender wrestling. While some old-school fans may find the spectacle of men fighting women troubling, a vast majority of female brawlers are all too eager to pummel the parity into their male opponents. On night one, Friday, February 22, comedians Matt Cobos, Caitie Hannan and Janae Burris keep the chuckles flowing between rounds that include an intergender tag team tournament between Delilah Doom, Shotzi Blackheart, Ruby Raze, Anaya and Lonnie Valdez, and a title bout that pits "Yoga Monster" Mike Sydal against Taya Valkyrie.
