Dozens of Things You Can Still Do in Denver This Holiday Season

The metro area is lit for the season, with holiday markets, holiday productions and holiday light shows all over. Although most closed by December 31, there's still fun to unwrap, including Camp Christmas!

Here are some of the remaining options:

Through January 3: Blossoms of Light: No matter how hard your neighbors try, their holiday lights will never beat the Gardens' annual display. 5 p.m.-9 p.m., $16-$21, Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York Street, 720-865-3500, botanicgardens.org.

Through January 26: Belmar on Ice: The Rink at Belmar is open Sundays through Thursdays 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m.-10 p.m. through January 5. Rink is open Thursdays through Sundays January 9-26. Admission, free-$9.50, good for one hour of skating and skate rental ($5 without rental). Through January: Santa's North Pole Adventure and Victorian Holiday Celebration: Santa holds court on the Georgetown Loop Railroad through Christmas Eve; after his work is done for the year, enjoy sedate coaches decorated as in Victorian times. Through January 30: DIA Ice Skating Rink: Got a few hours to kill before your flight? Of course you do. Strap on a pair of (free!) loaner skates and take to the ice. Denver International Airport Plaza, free, 8500 Peña Boulevard, flydenver.com.
Through February 2: The Pond at Southlands: The outside skating rink hosts events throughout winter, including the Skate & Donate Food Drive (November 21), a Frozen 2 celebration (November 22) and Skating with Santa (December 7). $8.50 and up, Southlands, 6155 South Main Street, Aurora, 303-627-5000, shopsouthlands.com.
