The Other Side Podcast Live with Jeff Albright, Steve Vanderploeg and Eric Henderson at Mutiny Information Cafe (8 p.m. Monday, free)
Start your week with comedy — not just any comedy, but insightful comedy. Comedians Jeff Albright, Steve Vanderploeg and Eric Henderson will be sharing some standup during a live taping of The Other Side Podcast with host Bradley Haltom. The comics will work off questions and ideas offered by the audience, and will even give out tickets to future Sexpot Comedy shows to people with particularly good questions. The Denver Collage Club Salon with Mark Sink and Mario Zoots at Ross-Cherry Creek Branch Library (5:30 p.m. Tuesday, free)
The Denver Collage Club highlighted its endeavors in a show at the Robert Anderson Gallery over the last month. Now the masterminds behind the club, Mark Sink and Mario Zoots, will explain the history and process of collage and share some some tricks of the trade at the Ross-Cherry Creek Library.

Bring Your Government—2015 Municipal Elections Edition at McNichols Building (6 p.m. Wednesday, free)
You've seen those yard signs popping up all over town with names you don't know of people running for offices you've never heard of. There's not a moment to waste: Learn about the upcoming municipal elections — the deadline to vote is May 5 — while playing with LEGOS. Yeah, LEGOS. Every candidate has been invited to this event, where they can explain their positions and answer your questions. Chris Charpentier and Nathan Lund will be there to pepper the proceedings with humor, and former Mayor Federico Pena will be on hand, too. Show up and exercise some civic muscle.
