Raconteur Denver: First Inebriation
Carbon Beverage Cafe
7 p.m. Tuesday, free
The memories will pour out at this bi-monthly storytelling night, which this round focuses on our first buzz. Poet Brian Foley, comedian Timmi Lasley and podcaster Sam Pike will regale us with tales of their first time getting fugged up. Following that, audience members are encouraged to share their stories, too.

Fort Greene
5 p.m. Wednesday, free
Denver is a growing city in large part because it's a creative city, and the folk at From the Hip Photo want to celebrate that. So they're throwing a happy hour tonight, when Tyrel Hartman will host the comedic stylings of Jacob Rupp and Zac Mass. Kenyon Sky Dellecave will exhibit art and the Hope Tank will have a pop-up shop, too; beer from New Belgium should keep the party flowing. It's all free; get your tickets here.
DKBC Dolls and Balls
Barnum Park
7:30 p.m. Thursday, free
The ladies from the Denver Kickball Coalition put in a lot of time helping out Girls Inc., and it's all come down to this: a female kickball competition complete with a fundraising raffle. Bring a six-pack and enjoy the action; it's free to watch — but bring cash because you'll want in on a chance to win some of those raffle prizes and do good in the process.
