Nathaniel sings the National Anthem and the Broncos beat the Bengals at hi-dive (5 p.m. Monday, free)
There's a big game for the boys in blue at Sports Authority Field tonight, but there's going to be an even bigger performance before the game. Fresh off the heels of a world tour, Nathaniel Rateliff of The Night Sweats fame will be on hand to sing the national anthem for Monday Night Football. Don't have a ticket? No problem: Head to the hi-dive for a free game-watching party with good company and cheap beer.
Trivia Night at Chain Reaction Brewing (7:30 p.m. Tuesday, free)
There will be rad rounds of questions at Chain Reaction tonight, and you don't have to be a brainiac to answer this trivia: If you were alive during this past year, you have a pretty good shot. New Year's Eve Free Tapping of Cherry Cross Eyed Lefty at Denver Beer Co. (11 p.m. Thursday, free)
This city features hundreds of ways to ring in a new round of 365 days, but if you want to enjoy something a little more low-key and communal, stop by Denver Beer Co. for a free taste of Cherry Cross Eyed Lefty when the ball drops at midnight. The merlot wine barrel-aged brew features the fruitiness of tart cherry and pineapple, and weighs in at a heavy 7.8 percent ABV.  Kick off the new year with a sweet kiss and a sweet beer.
