July was a real flash in the pan. Fortunately, the fun never ends in this city — and if you find yourself strapped for cash at the end of the month, there are still plenty of free entertainment options. This week you can catch inspired bike art, get your mind twisted by a raunchy movie and meet a hot comedian. Check out the Westword calendar for more events, and drop us a comment if we missed any bargains.

Bike Art Reception at McNichols Building (5 p.m. Tuesday, free)
If you're going to be flying out of DIA anytime soon, you might notice the new bike art that will welcome people to our pedal-friendly city. Catch a preview of this free-wheeling display tonight at the McNichols Building in Civic Center Park. In addition to the art, there will be free beer and snacks; you can make a donation to Bicycle Colorado to keep the two-wheel community rolling.

Female Trouble at Fort Greene Bar (9 p.m. Tuesday, free)
John Waters visited Manson family member Charles "Tex" Watson in prison, and afterwards was reportedly inspired to create Female Trouble riffing on the idea "Crime is Beauty." The film follows Waters regular Divine from a troubled youth getting kicked out of school to a life of crime and loose morals. It's hlarious, dark and raunchy, and showing for free at Fort Greene. Expect some Divine drink specials, too.

Talkin SHOP with Jordan Doll at Mutiny Information Cafe (7 p.m. Thursday, free)
Back in 2013 Jordan Doll joked his way past 140 other comedians to be crowned the winner of the Comedy Works New Faces Competition. The dude's wit is out of control, and his stage presence is to- notch, too. Find out where Doll gets all those crazy ideas for his jokes at Talking SHOP at Mutiny tonight. If you can't make it — or would like to see other episodes of this series — you can stream and download the shows here
