The 5th annual Red Bull Cold Rush freeskiing competition is on this week, and for the first time ever it's right here in Colorado, at Silverton Mountain, where the ski area has gotten more than 40 inches of new snow in the last week. On Day One the good folks at Silverton took the competitors up in the whirlybird -- Silverton opened up access to 22,000 acres of heli-skiing terrain this year -- and let them loose:

Pretty sick, right? Some of those lines could be yours: Heli drops at Silverton start at $159 per run or $999 for a full day.
