BDT Stage

The mission of the creative staff at BDT Stage is to offer "Broadway-quality" theatrical entertainment at non-Broadway prices. Ordinarily, a statement like that might promote snickers from anyone who takes their theater seriously, but the cast and programming can hold a candle to more expensive productions any day of the week. The theater showcases four quality shows each year, and just as much attention is paid to the food. This isn't a dinner theater where you get two choices -- chicken or steak -- but an eatery offering a menu with appetizers, light entrees, heavier entrees and desserts catering to a wide range of palates, from the aforementioned chicken-and-steak lovers to vegans, and many of the ingredients are locally sourced. For a high-quality night on the town without the high-quality price tag, BDT Stage is where it's at.
