Cafe Aion

Located in a charming, homey building in the heart of The Hill, a neighborhood filled with college students, Cafe Aion attracts an older crowd by blurring the line between dining out and dinner party. The owners conceived of their restaurant while skiing, and they did all the renovation work themselves. They also worked hard on the menu, which focuses on small plates made from seasonal ingredients. During brunch on a summer weekend, the sweeping outdoor veranda is a prime spot for French-press coffee and a crossword puzzle.
