Satellite Bar

The space that was once home to legendary Capitol Hill dive the Congress Lounge got new owners and a much-needed scrubbing in 2007, and reopened as the Satellite Bar. Although it could still be considered a dive by younger folks who've never been to a good old-fashioned one like the Nob Hill up the street, the Satellite is really just a small, comfortable, no-frills joint where there's not a lot to do beyond drinking and engaging in some colorful Colfax people-watching. That said, you're bound to meet a good assortment of interesting people inside, as well.
