Sliceworks

After overcoming some zoning challenges, Sliceworks — the pizza joint that occupies a new two-story structure built on the former Argonaut parking lot — joined the lineup of Colfax eateries in January 2012. The emphasis is on unusual pies, including a Buffalo chicken version, as well as other Italian dishes that you can take out or eat in while enjoying wine, beer or a mixed drink, since Slice Works has a full bar. And then there are the views of all the street action from those big second-story windows: Talk about a slice of life!
