Indo Expo Keeps Growing, Just Like the Cannabis Industry

The cannabis industry is growing, and the Indo Expo is growing right along with it, with annual shows now in Portland and San Francisco as well as Denver, where it all began...and where it will be back at the Denver Mart this weekend with the tenth Indo Expo.

"It is an understatement to say that the cannabis industry is moving at breakneck speed," says Chris Olson, executive director of Indo Expo, in announcing the 2019 Denver event. "Anyone who is interested in any aspect of this business will have the opportunity to network with and educate themselves by learning from those who have brought the business to this point and will take it to the next level. There is no other place that brings together the entire cannabis industry, from soup to nuts, like Indo Expo."

The Indo Expo will showcase over 350 exhibitors from all parts of the industry, and present more than 24 speakers, experts who'll cover everything from cultivation to compliance. Researcher Sue Sisley will present the keynote, discussing how to navigate around the barriers that the U.S. government has raised to cannabis research.

Another highlight includes the expanded Industrial Hemp Pavilion. Now that the 2018 Farm Bill made hemp federally legal, that field is also booming, and this area will showcase the vast array of U.S.-made hemp products and services, everything from hemp coffee to hemp for pets to hempcrete.

On Saturday, January 26, the Indo Expo is open to industry professionals and trade only, but from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, it's open to everyone. The Denver Mart is located at 451 East 58th Avenue; for more information, go to indoexpo.com.
