During his three decades as a promoter, Barry Fey brought in legendary acts like the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and U2. In his new book, Backstage Past, released yesterday on Lone Wolfe Press, Fey chronicles behind-the-scenes stories, some of which have never been made public. The book also includes forewords by Pete Townshend and Sharon Osbourne as well as an original poem by U2 frontman Bono.

To celebrate the release of the Backstage Past, Fey will read excerpts from the book and sign copies from 6 to 9 p.m. at Rockbar on Saturday, November 12. There's also a cocktail reception and dinner from 4 to 6 p.m., where Fey will be cooking up his famous Pete Townshend shrimp dish.

Fey will also sign copies of the book at Twist & Shout on Tuesday, November 15.
