For this week's slice of the weird, I give you Sir Ivan, and it doesn't get much freakier than this guy. He's a fifty-something ex-financier who lives in a castle and maintains a superhero identity called Peaceman (also, Mr. Mitzvah for a short time on SciFi's Who Wants to Be a Superhero?). In 2000 he gave up a career in finance to become a singer/superhero, cranking out "technippy" (a blend of techno and hippy he coined himself) versions of popular '60s songs, like the utterly surreal take on Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" you will find after the jump. The cornball techno production on the track is goofy enough, but wait until you get a load of the craptastic digital effects and epically bad acting. As for what it's worth, I don't know. What is the going rate for insanity these days?
