Peanut butter and chocolate. Gin and tonic. Rock and roll. Some things are just mean to go together. But Star Trek and Lord of the Rings? Not so much, outside of particularly horrible fan fiction. And, apparently, this ill-fated late '60s trainwreck of a novelty folk song where none other than Mr. Spock sings us a story of the little hobbits while cute mod girls shimmy in the background.
