In case you haven't noticed, when it comes to music, our town has an abundance of riches, everything from bands to venues to now, more than ever, festivals. And they come in all shapes and sizes, from our own Westword Music Showcase to Peter Black's upcoming Afterdark Festival. Word of the latest entry comes fresh after a similarly staged gathering at the hi-dive this past weekend (Hi-Dive Hullabaloo). Goldrush -- slated to take place at the hi-dive on Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17 -- is a two-day fest being curated by three of the area's premier blogs, Speaker Snacks, Tome to the Weather Machine and Magic Teepee, with visuals from Audio Visual Violence Club.
The lineup, which consists of more than 30 bands from Denver and various parts of the country, is pretty on par with what you'd expect from the event's curators, particularly if you've been following their respective blogs. Tickets are available now on the hi-dive's website in the form of two-day passes, which are going for $28 ($25 plus $3 service fee). Click through to see the full lineup.
