A few months ago, Hideous Men were mourning the loss of their drum machine and a laptop containing unreleased material, all stolen from the duo's van outside of Rhinoceropolis several hours before a scheduled performance at this year's Titwrench Fest. But the positive digital punks persevered, playing shows with what equipment they did have, and it seems they've bounced back with a mighty, visceral force. Recently signing to Berlin's K7 records, Hideous Men have collaborated with friend and fellow artist Milton Melvin Croissant III and released "Tangled" -- a sparkling, deep-bass tribute to love and wizardry. Witness the glittering resurrection of Hideous Men.
