In a coincidence they perhaps hadn't anticipated when they chose their moniker, the members of Honor the Fallen, a young Broomfield-based act, has issued word that guitarist Dylan Neise (pictured left, center) is departing the band. As an, ahem, honorable gesture, the band delivered the news to fans in a dignified fashion on its MySpace page, stating that the decision to part ways was "beyond difficult," and then, in the same space, allowed Neise to have his say. For his part, Neise simply said that there are other things in his life that need more attention. The band is in the process of booking its final show with Neise at a venue he requested and are on the hunt for a new guitarist to fill his slot.
