After the comforting lull of the holidays, things are ramping back up nicely on the concert front. Some big announcements this week, including Animal Collective, who is slated to return to Denver for a show at the Ogden Theatre with Dan Deacon, and the Avett Brothers, who are set for a two-night run at Red Rocks in July. The Revival Tour, meanwhile, is making its way back to Denver, and Global Dub Festival goes on sale this weekend. This Just In: New Concerts and On-Sale Dates

In support of Centipede Hz, its latest effort, Animal Collective is coming back to Colorado for a date at the Ogden Theatre with Dan Deacon. Tickets ($33.50) for this show go on sale this Friday, January 18, at 10 a.m.

The Avett Brothers are set to return to Red Rocks for another two-night stand on Friday, July 5 (with Portugal. The Man) and Saturday, July 6 (with Old Crow Medicine Show). The act is touring in support of its seventh full-length, Rick Rubin-produced The Carpenter. General admission and reserved tickets ($39.95-$48.95) go on sale this Friday, January 18, at 10 a.m.

As previously reported, Global Dub Festival is returning to Red Rocks; Flux Pavilion and Excision are slated to co-headline this year's Global Dub Festival on Friday, May 17, with Zomboy, Dirtyphonics and Designer Drugs. General Admission tickets ($42.50-$47.50) and VIP tickets ($110) go on sale this Saturday, January 19, at 10 a.m.

The Revival Tour makes its way back to the area with Dave Hause (of the Loved Ones), Tim McIlrath (of Rise Against), Chuck Ragan (of Hot Water Music), Rocky Votolato, and Jenny O. It hits the Summit Music Hall on Saturday, April 13 and the Aggie Theatre in Ft. Collins on Sunday, April 14. Tickets for both shows go on sale on Thursday, January 24, at 10 a.m. via Ticketweb.
