Chances are that you've heard of NPR's Tiny Desk Concert Series, that maybe you've even fallen down a video rabbit hole, watching favorite band after band cluster around the famous cluttered desk in the NPR offices and perform stripped-down versions of songs you love.
For the second year in a row, NPR is shining a spotlight on tiny desks across the country with its Tiny Desk Concert Contest. Entries were accepted into early February, and while no winner has been announced yet, the odds are in Colorado's favor. Why? Because a whopping 131 Colorado musicians entered the contest, filming themselves performing in their bedrooms, living rooms, outside and around their own desks, small and large.
We spent some time watching entries, and would like to share ten videos, in no particular order, that we particularly enjoyed. If you want more, just go here, and search Colorado or a particular band and watch the Centennial State's most talented appear on your screen.
