Just received word that Paper Bird has inked a new joint management agreement with Mark Bliesener's Band Guru and Sarah Levin's Letter R Management firms. Coming off a series of dates on New Belgium's Tour de Fat, the darling, irresistible, retro-tinged, roots-based combo has already had quite a noteworthy year, having taken home honors in the Roots/Americana category of this year's Westword Music Showcase, as well claiming the third spot in the Denver Post's underground music poll. Catch Paper Bird on Wednesday, November 26, when it headlines the Oriental Theater, or on Monday, December 29, when it warms up the stage for the Flobots, or on December 30 and 31 at the Boulder Theater, when the group performs with Rose Hill Drive. -- Dave Herrera
