Peter Black, the man behind the explosive Analog Space parties, has enlisted a diverse roster of DJs and bands for his upcoming Voodoo Ball 2010, a glittering Halloween blowout with a hand-picked lineup featuring Gauntlet Hair, Woodsman (their tour kickoff, according to Mr. Black), Hideous Men, Hollagramz, Flashlights, Cory Brown, St. Elias, C.DB.SN, and Peter Black himself.

Black, in his many years as a DJ and a multi-tasking, event-planning machine, has perfected the dance-party formula: Provide the right music (and the people who make/play the right music), and the crowd will come. This year's Halloween soiree is slated to take place at the Meadowlark on Saturday, October 30, and this approach should prove to be dependably effective.

Also, Modern Witch (whose own Mario Zoots has been hard at work creating cover art for 52 singles released by Deathbomb Arc this year) will be performing, plus Zoots and his collective, AUDIO//VISUAL//VIOLENCE//CLUB, will provide live video manipulations and trippy imagery on the second floor of the venue.

In keeping with the local spirit of this event, Black is also offering up a free digital compilation featuring all of the artists involved, which is now available for free download.
