Pixies, Bob Dylan, Yonder Mountain String Band shows announced

As we reported in July, the Pixies will visit the Fillmore Auditorium Monday, November 16 as part of a nine-city US tour celebrating the twentieth anniversary of act's 1989 watershed album Doolittle. The original line-up of Black Francis, Kim Deal, Joey Santiago and David Lovering will play Doolittle in its entirety as as well its related B-sides, including "Weird at My School," "Dancing the Manta Ray" and "Bailey's Walk." Tickets are $50. Bob Dylan returns to the area with a visit to the Magness Arena Wednesday, October 21. General admission and reserved tickets run $49.50 to $59.50, and student GA tickets are $39.50 and only available at the DU box office with valid student ID. Yonder Mountain String Band will play a three-show New Year's run starting at the Boulder Theater Wednesday December 29 followed by December 30 and 31 shows at the Fillmore. The December 29 show is available only as part of a three-day pass, which are $114.50. Tickets for December 30 show are $29.50 advance and $35 day of show, and New Year's Eve tickets are $55 advance and $60 day of show; two-day Fillmore passes are $84.50.
