Record Store Day was originally started a few years ago as a once-a-year celebration for some 700 independently owned record stores in the U.S., including Twist & Shout and Wax Trax, but the organizers have also included today, Black Friday, as another chance to for music fans to get their hands on limited special edition vinyl and CDs, some of them numbered.

Some of the special releases include demos that Ryan Adams recorded at Electric Ladyland studios during the Ashes & Fire sessions, Beastie Boys's Hot Sauce Committee Part Two deluxe edition 12" vinyl, Iron & Wine's Morning Becomes Eclectic 12" vinyl and Nirvana's Nevermind singles 10" vinyl set. Here's a full rundown of Record Store Day Black Friday releases, but keep in mind not every store carries every release on the list.
