Red Rocks Will Host Its First Halloween Show This Year

In a concert season that continues to expand, Red Rocks Amphitheatre has officially announced its first-ever Halloween show on October 31, featuring headliners Mac Miller and Action Bronson, with Flatbush Zombies, Tory Lanez, GoldLink and Domo Genesis. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 24, at 10 a.m., starting at $45.

This spooky hip-hop show will go down in rain, snow or ’shine, so prepare your all-weather Halloween costume now. It will mark Mac Miller's first time headlining Red Rocks. An artists with a huge fan base in the Mile High, Miller stole the show with Slightly Stoopid during the April 20 weekend in 2014.

Action Bronson is finally receiving the mainstream respect he deserves, blowing up on radio stations this year after the drop of "Baby Blue," his Marc Ronson-produced jam featuring Chance the Rapper. The song was the lead single from Bronson's second studio album, Mr. Wonderful; released on March 23 of this year, it was his first album recorded under a major label of Vice and Atlantic records. Bronson's success is well-deserved, and the New York native has always performed with enough energy to co-headline a venue as big as Red Rocks. 

It should be a cool crowd, to say the least, featuring more hip-hop heavy hitters such as Odd Future's Domo Genesis and the Flatbush Zombies (aka the Glorious Dead), a rap trio with an underground cult following that hails from — you guessed it — Brooklyn. Listen to "Palm Trees," from their album BetterOffDead, to fall under their dark, melodic spell.
