Swallow Hill Music is expanding. This spring, the esteemed non-profit music association, a veritable Denver institution after a more than three decade-long existence, is planning to open up a new campus in Lowry. According to a release from Swallow Hill Project & Publicity Manager Lindsay Taylor, the new 3,600 square foot facility will be located at Second Avenue Parkway and Quebec -- not too far from the Soiled Dove Underground from the sounds of it -- and will be offer individual and group music instruction with an emphasis on children's programming. In addition to two larger classrooms, there will be four smaller rooms devoted to private lessons and larger space where everyone can gather. Keep an eye on this space for updates as the opening gets closer.
