Jack Black and Kyle Gass, the duo behind the Grammy-nominated rock-comedy group Tenacious D, have been busy lately. In November, they released Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto, an animated film hand-drawn by Black that he voiced with Gass.

Now the duo is hitting the road for the Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto the Tour 2019, which stops at Red Rocks on July 25.

To make things even more interesting, the band will play alongside the Colorado Symphony, which has plenty of experience playing alongside quirky bands. The symphony has already teamed up with the Flaming Lips and will play alongside "Weird Al" Yankovic in August.

Tickets for the Tenacious D show, $55 to 89.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, February 15, at axs.com or 888-929-7849.
