Yesterday, somebody downloaded a song from iTunes. Yeah, we know, happens every day, right? What's new? Happening right now, in fact, as we type this. Sure. But this song was different. It was more significant than any other download in history, except perhaps one other. And this one was worth a fortune.

We don't know which song it was (gotta feeling that it was probably "I Gotta Feeling"), or who downloaded it (probably some unwitting kid in some suburb somewhere), for that matter, but this particular ditty was worth TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS! What made this particular track so valuable was the fact that it was the tenth billionth (wrap your head around that for a minute) song downloaded since iTunes in April 2003, which earned the lucky recipient a $10K iTunes gift certificate.

In honor of the occasion, Billboard has run down the Top 25 iTunes Downloads. And you'll be happy to know that among those listed, Flo Rida's "Right Round," co-produced by Frank E, and "How to Save a Life" by the Fray rounds out the Top 25. See what other songs ranked after the jump, and marvel at how seemingly inescapable songs like "Hey Ya," "Crazy," "Apologize" (don't feel bad for Ryan Tedder, though, his "Bleeding Love" checks in at number nine) and "Don't Trust Me" somehow managed to miss the cut.
