Update, 5/16: We've added a couple dozen bands to the lineup, bringing the running total to 121 Colorado bands in addition to the five touring ones -- the full list as of today is below!

The Westword Music Showcase is less than two months away. On June 21, 130-ish Colorado bands and artists of every possible variety will play assorted venues around the Golden Triangle, and an outdoor stage on Acoma Street and 12th Avenue will host Diplo, 2 Chainz and more.

Today, we're excited to announce the first 100-plus of those Colorado bands, all nominees for 2014 Westword Music Awards. The Showcase is just one part of this process, and all of the more than 300 bands up for an award is worthy of your consideration. Vote now to help determine winners in each of our forty categories.

Tickets for the Showcase are on sale now -- they're $35 for general admission or $75 for VIP.

There will be plenty more Colorado bands added to this lineup; check back in this space for additions, as well as details like the schedule and plenty of guides.
