Whether you're a fan of the whomp or not, Dubstep is here to stay. Borgore (performing this evening at the Bluebird Theater with Thorazine, ServOne and Seeda) is definitely on the newer end of movement, but the Tel Aviv-born producer and DJ has already carved out his own style within the genre. Former drummer of the Israeli metal band Shabira, Borgore incorporates a similarly sharp sound to his drum and bass re-workings as evidenced on his remix of Britney Spears's "Womanizer."

With Diplo's Mad Decent label behind him and albums dropped from his own Buygore imprint, the DJ is quickly building up the chops to be a Dubstep gamechanger. This show is sixteen and up, and tickets are $23-25. Doors open at 8 p.m., and performances begin at 9 p.m.
