Grammy Award-winner and ultimate musical collaborator Lucinda Williams (playing tonight at the Boulder Theater with Lionel Young) shouldn't need an introduction. The rough-voiced storyteller has been making records since 1979, intertwining blues and rock n' roll with her own salty version of Americana country.

Her latest record, Blessed, is both mournful and celebratory in lyrical nature, as emotionally diverse as Williams' two-decade-wide catalog itself. Working with the likes of Elvis Costello and Matthew Sweet, the singer-songwriter continues to bend and stretch her voice with a natural penchant for the blues, which only burns brighter when she performs live. This show is 21-and-over, and tickets are $34.50 to $54.00. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., show starts at 8:30 p.m.
