The Underground Music Showcase, which new owner Two Parts rebooted in 2018, will hit Denver July 26 through 28.
For the 2019 edition, Two Parts promises more outdoor stages (there were four last year), indoor venues and interactive experiences. UMS has historically been a traditional music festival, but under the guidance of Two Parts, it has incorporated food, drink and art installations.
Two Parts is still building the festival's lineup, and asks local bands hoping to play the summer festival to visit the Underground Music Showcase website, scroll down to "Want to Perform," explain a bit about your band and include any relevant information, like your social media, Soundcloud and Spotify pages.
What is UMS looking for? A little of everything.
"We like to think of UMS as a strong representation of all types of music," says Two Parts senior events manager Tobias Krause. "Our plan is to work together to come up with a cohesive, diverse lineup of national and local bands."
Submissions will be taken through March 15.
