So hot on the heels of StubHub listing Denver at number ten on its list of twenty most rockin' cities, comes word that the Society of American Travel Writers -- evidently the largest consortium of traveling journos and photographers -- have also deigned the Mile High City as the tenth most appealing city for live music. There we are right behind New York, New Orleans, Nashville, Austin (ahem, natch) and ... wait a minute ... unlike the StubHub list, that is presumably based on gross ticket sales, on the SATW list, Denver beat out San Francisco, Dallas and Los Angeles, who didn't even make the cut. Yay us! Oh, and thanks to Phish and Red Rocks, which apparently helped us make both lists, respectively.
