You know when your mom sometimes goes on and on about how handsome you are, or how talented you are and whatnot, and you're all like, "Ah, ma', you're supposed to say that crap. You're my mom"? Keep that sentiment in mind right now as we tell you just how wicked cool our kid is. The lineup is for this year's Showcase is bananas. Seriously. Check out who's playing after the jump.

Okay, so we promised fifty of Denver's best bands. We actually ended up making room for over eighty -- plus Adam Cayton-Holland, our resident funny man, has talked his Wrist Deep Productions crew into putting together a comedy showcase for us because, well, that's just the kind of dude he is. (They're pretty funny. Swear. Check out their recent encounter with Flobots below.)

Oh, and lest we forget, some other bands from out of town called Ra Ra Riot and the Drive-By Truckers will also be there. We're told they kill.
