Here's what The Heartstring Hunters had to say:

Westword: How would you describe your sound?

The Heartstring Hunters: Haha, I'm going to steal Dan's answer here: atmospheric heartfelt folk rock.

How has Denver influenced your sound?

Hmm...the people all around us playing eclectic Pandora stations at work, different festivals we've played with, incredible Colorado artists, a LOT of folk and experimental indie music coming out of the woodwork here in Denver.

What could Denver do to better support musicians?

Denver could have less late-night shows with five bands on one bill, more earlier community shows where bands or artists have a stage and a listening room that is available most nights of the week for Denver locals to come enjoy music in a quiet, creative atmosphere (before 11 at night!)

Will you stay in Denver or will you leave? Why?

Dan and I just bought our first home in Coal Creek Canyon, and Alex has a home in Denver now...so...staying! Why not? These are our people.
