The 4/20 weekend this year is shaping up to be a massive, city-wide event. Not only is the traditional 4/20 political rally again taking at Denver's Civic Center Park, but the crew from High Times has claimed the Mile High as their city of choice for the first-ever Cannabis Cup on American soil.

And now, we've learned of another major pot party from the folks at Boulder-based Incredibowl: The 420 Extravaganga has been announced for April 19 at the Hoodlab, 3354 Larimer Street in Denver.

This is the second year that Incredibowl has sponsored an event over the hempy weekend. Last year's party at City Hall was a hazy, reggae-filled evening. This year takes things in a different, more urban direction with music from world-renowned producer DJ Premier, who has shared his is sample-heavy, old-school New York feel with nearly everyone in hip hop, including Notorious B.I.G, Snoop Dogg, Bun B, KRS-One, Kanye West, Busta Rhymes and Jay Z.

The event will also feature live painting from New York-based artist Justin Bua. While you might not know his name, you more than likely have seen his urban-influenced artwork in all sorts of places, from dispensaries to hotel lobbies.

"Now that Colorado has legalized marijuana in an historic vote, DJ Premier and Justin Bua will be performing live in Denver this April to commemorate and immortalize the historic first post-marijuana prohibition 4/20 holiday in American history," says promoter Mitch Shanessa in a press release..

Tickets for the private event are on sale at the Incredibowl site. General admission tickets are selling for $20 through tonight, and then the price jumps to $25. There's also a $420 VIP package being offered that includes a VIP smoke session, free stuff from Incredibowl and a limo ride to the venue, where big spenders will eat dinner with the artists and musicians taking part in the event.
