The Moving Planet Party and Green Fair will be held at the State Capitol this Saturday, September 24, 2011, and will showcase the best ideas in moving beyond fossil fuels... As illustrated above, making an alternative fuel choice is child's play! With the new line of Mentos-and-Diet-Coke-powered cars, you can save the planet and turn time-consuming maintenance over to the kids. Below, bug-powered automobiles... As illustrated above, wood pellets made from pine-beetle kill make an economical alternative fuel for powering and heating the pellet-stove-powered vehicles that are popular with Colorado mountain residents.

The Moving Planet Party starts with a bike rally that begins at the Boulder Municipal Building at 8 a.m. Riders will pass dirty energy sites and meet at the State Capitol for the Green Fair from 5 to 7 p.m.
