It's a timely question. Recent reports reveal that rent prices in Denver went up 48 percent between 2010 and 2017, and after a few months of moderation last year, increases are back with a vengeance. Some experts see signs on the horizon that may lead to falling home prices in the not-too-distant future, and if that happens, the ripple effects could help the rental market. But relief doesn't seem in the offing anytime soon.
With that in mind, we turned to RENTCafe, whose Denver page offers current price breakdowns and comparisons for neighborhoods throughout the city.
Below, see the latest numbers for all 68 Denver neighborhoods tracked by RENTCafe and ranked from least expensive to priciest in terms of the overall average of four apartment categories: studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom. As you'll see, those averages vary widely: Number one is more than twice as large as number 68.
